Pace Docs Travels to The Bronx to Rally with Gov. Cuomo and Gov. Rosselló

Pace Docs continues to investigate the latest news you need to know! Today, we traveled to Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education to cover a rally where Governor Cuomo (NY) and Governor Ricardo Rosselló (PR) demanded the Federal Government increase Puerto Rican relief funding.

The rally consisted of union workers, disaster relief supporters, government representatives, and the Bronx Borough President Rubén Díaz Jr. While this rally was one of many others throughout New York, supporters were united for the cause.

Months after Hurricane Maria’s landfall, almost a third of the population is still without power. “Si, se puede” were the words heard around the room, making it known that Puerto Rico is not alone.

Governor Cuomo uplifted the crowd even more through his passionate words about the need for relief.

“When we are with you…we are with you…and your fight is our fight…and whatever you need we are with Puerto rico…in this fight…we are going to walk the road of recovery every step of the way.”

Pace Docs will continue to be there with the people of Puerto Rico, making sure every voice is heard. Puerto Rico is not alone!
