This semester, Pace University’s groundbreaking documentary series will focus on the island of Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico has been devastated by Hurricane Maria, a powerful Category 4 storm. Maria was the strongest storm to make landfall in Puerto Rico in 85 years. It hit the island on September 20th with sustained winds of 155 mph knocking out power to the entire island.
What happens when an island has to totally rebuild its infrastructure? What about the people? Power, water, food, basic human needs – where will the island be when the #PaceDocs team arrives in March?
Tenacity, resilience, perseverance, the #PaceDocs team will explore the island’s people and how they overcome adversity and endure.
